Today 04/30/2025 I called the office after sending another email to follow up and I called the office @ p:31 AM Stephenie picked up the call, I was looking for Nathan and I asked if I could speak with him. She asked what is it regarding about? I explained. She put me on hold to get some information. Came back and let me know they are still waiting for an answer to the request. That was really nice of her. Thank you, Stephanie, for your help. Small effort but the only one needed so I can continue to wait. Changing my 1 Start to 5 Stars.

Great place to live for the price. The community is very peaceful (besides the occasional dog barking or kid playing). I haven’t had any pest issues (something I’ve hated to have in the past) and don’t have any complaints with maintenance. Nathan up at the front office is always a pleasure. I’ve lived here at Willow Creek for the past year and a half. I normally don’t leave reviews, but ever since moving to my 2 bedroom, I have loved living here. Me and my girlfriend enjoy how peaceful and friendly the community is. Nathan (our leasing agent at the time) did such a wonderful job showcasing our new home and we are so glad we got to work with him. Highly recommend moving to these apartments.

Today I had to have maintenance come into my apartment to fix a couple of things and Stewart and Austin where the two maintenance guys that came in to help. They were very nice, knew what they were doing, and fast. Definitely a good place to live.

I was able to take a tour of the property. It’s in great location by the freeway and close to downtown Tempe and the staff are very helpful and friendly and the units that I saw were very nice and cozy. The application process is easy, and there is plenty of parking for guests too which is hard to find sometimes. The price is pretty reasonable and I would definitely recommend taking a look and ask for Danielle. She was very professional and helpful when we did the tour!

Soooo glad I came across these apartments when I did I was in need of a home that was cost affordable as well as not being a random dump i came in a week ago and I was shown Amazing hospitality by Aaliyah weese and the rest of the staff upon entering. They made me feel comfortable walking me through the process and made it clear and simple to understand what I was getting into. They also made sure to show me the apartment in detail and was happy to see them nice and maintained overall amazing experience definitely recommend for any first time buyers or anybody looking for a smooth and easy move in.

Definitely not luxury apartments by any means but for the price and area this place is decent. Never had issues with noise, neighbors, pests, etc. Area feels relatively safe, and the few times we needed maintenance they came and got the job done. Not sure how things will be on move out but we made sure to document and photograph all existing defects in the apartment the day we moved in which I highly recommend everyone does to avoid paying move out fees!

I lived here for 2 years. The community people are nice and it’s pretty quiet. I had some apartment issues towards the end with plumbing but the staff took care of me. The front desk people are nice and the maintenance people The apartment manager yelled at me on the phone, so rude disrespectful and unprofessional. The 4 stars is for the hot water always being out. I’ve probably received 20 emails about it in my time here. the manager says it’s not their fault but from me to you it’s just a heads up

The maintenance tech was friendly and did his best to resolve the issue. He told me that most of the Casitas have an issue with airflow due to old equipment and odd air duct placement. The blower wheel inside the air handler is still a little too loud and still vibrates when the Air conditioning is on.

First, and foremost, like pretty much every complex near ASU, Willow Creek is not without its warts. But I will discuss those last. I lived at Willow Creek for 3 years. On average my time there was good. Its close to ASU, multiple stores, and the highways, so it made life easy in that respect. The property was, on average well maintained (more on the exceptions later), the staff tended to be responsive, though there was a relatively high turnover rate. Prior to COVID the amenities were relatively nice, especially for the price. There's a gym, multiple pools, a hot tub, and the leasing office had a decent lounge. My apartment, fortunately, had upgraded appliances, working washer/dryer, and quiet neighbors. If you are moving near ASU, I would recommend Willow Creek. The few warts I mentioned are as follows: 1. My unit had bedbugs in it when I moved it. They should spray all units immediately after a tenant leaves. HOWEVER, and this is important, once I showed them I had bedbugs, they had a professional extermination company come out and they were able to take care of the problem, such that after my third month in the unit I didn't see any more bedbugs. I wasn't happy to start with, but was satisfied with the resolution. 2. Lack of security, especially around the parking lots. Tempe has a problem with homeless people. That's just something you need to realize when you move there. However, given that fact, complexes should work to limit the impact on their residents. I had my car broken into twice while living there. And its something I think the community managers need to take more seriously. 3. This is mostly true during the pandemic, which is the amenities started to suffer. The onsite gym became less taken care of, kids would break into it through the windows and use it, without supervisions or masks. The main pool area was locked more and under repair more often than not. Given the fees that had to be paid, this was pretty unacceptable, and should be dealt with. 4. Finally the fees. The fees almost represented a shadow rent increase between lease renewals. Many of the negative reviews mention these. I think the owners should consider rolling a blanket yearly fee into the rent and give it as your bottom line number. Having another 10% tacked onto your rent each month in fees can be an initial sticker shock that turn people off to the community quickly. Overall I would give the community a 4/5 rating. Its not perfect. Very few places are. They can definitely work on a few things to make the experience better for most people. However, I would still recommend living there.

I had a great experience with willow creek! Any time there was an issue, the office was very quick to respond and get the issue resolved. We had one issue with our shower leaking and zack had it fixed within a couple hours of us notifying the office. When we moved out, Kilie was extremely helpful in setting up a payment plan for the remaining move out fees and utility bills. Property is very clean and has a neighborhood feel. Lupe and Kilie are more than willing to go the extra mile and help out in any way they can. Highly recommend!

Recently moved into this complex from out of state. The leasing staff were all extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We were moving under short notice and the office was able to get everything situated basically over a weekend! Courtney was a blessing as I know she went above and beyond to reach out to certain personal in order to speed up the process for us. She was always available when we reached out, and responded immediately to our emails. The apartment itself is spacious and updated nicely with brand new appliances and cabinets. There are many nice clean pools on property and the area feels safe and pleasant. We had a couple minor issues upon move in and work orders were placed immediately and fixed within the first month. Would recommend for someone looking to be in the Tempe area. Thanks again to the friendly staff, and especially Courtney for helping us settle during a stressful time.

I have been working with Betty, and she is absolutely fabulous. I only had a couple of maintenance issues that needed to get sorted upon move-in, but it was a pretty smooth process. The only thing that was a downer was that the apartment wasn’t ready until around 4pm on move-in day because it needed extra cleaning. Otherwise, awesome experience.

I lived here for about 2 1/2 years. The maintenance helped when I had issues, and the neighbors outside were friendly. Some dogs barking but nothing excessive, comes with living in an apartment anywhere. One of the things that did kinda blow was how hard the move out fees were, especially because I was approved on no security deposit, but that was a plus when I moved in. Some of the neighbors do sit outside and smoke cigarettes and drink beer all day but the complex is huge so as long as you’re not in that section it’s mostly families, couples and college kids (but not many). I was able to transfer my lease to different units when my lease ended which was convenient when my roommate situations changed. My electric bill was kinda high during the summer, but it’s Arizona and the apartments are pretty big. Mainly didn’t renew because of how much my rent jumped up, but I enjoyed my time here.

I love the location of our apartment and we just had a little leak in our bathtub faucet and they came and fixed that AND fixed the bathtub plug we were having problems with without us having to ask. The place is very nice. Quiet most of the time. Grills are located throughout the complex, which is nice. There are a few minor problems though. The water temperature in the master bath shower really fluctuates. While showering the water will be set at desired temp then all of a sudden the temp will get very hot or very cold. Some misinterpretation of the water charges during lease signing, but can’t change that now. Other than that the complex is very nice

I've lived here for 3.5 years at Willow Creek. One of the biggest reasons why I've kept renewing my lease here is how affordable it is for my budget. I went from a one bedroom, to a two bed and two bath, and even upgrading to a two bed two bath, it was still affordable for my price range. The office has been so accommodating and super friendly, as well as the maintenance crew, who gets things fixed in a timely manner when I need to put a work order in. I'm confused on reading some of these reviews. Maybe for me, I've had and still have a great experience living here at Willow Creek.

I'm a current resident at Willow Creek (Moved in August 2015) I rent a 1 bedroom. In my experience here, the management has been fantastic. Very accommodating, even helped me with a deposit because I told them I was moving urgently due to unfortunate circumstances (obviously this won't be universal treatment, but it spoke volumes to me). They continue to be friendly and prompt to this day. My apartment rarely needs maintenance, but the crew is also very responsible, courteous and does a great job keeping the complex clean. The landscaping is also very impressive, the grass is green year-round and there's tall trees that make it feel pleasantly isolated. The complex as a whole is very quiet, save for some young children who play outside and the train on the north side of the complex. None of these things particularly bothered me, though. One suggestion I would make is an update to kitchen appliances and thermostats. Not unusable, but certainly dated. Also, when I moved in I heard a rumor that they were planning to build a dog park for the complex. That would really be the icing on the cake for me, but sadly I haven't heard anything about that for quite some time.

I lived in Willow Creek from March of 2011 until February of 2015. I was in a one bedroom and then upgraded to a two bedroom two bath. I always recommend this place to friends who are looking for a quiet complex that is close to ASU in the north Tempe area. For the price it really can’t be beat. Sure you can find nicer places in the Broadway/McClintock area but you are going to pay quite a bit more for them. I would say that WC is definitely the best bang for your buck around this part of Tempe. There is the option for a washer/drying in unit and there is covered parking available. Three nice pools and a small gym (we’re talking very small but it has a spin bike, recumbent bike, treadmill, elliptical, and a multi-use cable weight machine but it does have a big TV). The maintenance staff is hands down the best I have ever come across in my seven years in the valley. They are very prompt, super friendly, and good at their job. They keep the property looking very nice and everything in your apartment up and running. The complex is pretty quiet, it seems to be mostly young professionals and some young families. There are some students but in my nearly four years there I think there were maybe two or three parties that were loud and to be honest in Tempe near ASU that is more than acceptable in my opinion. The office staff was hit or miss over the years, mostly good though and it never really impacted anything. It seemed like a few of the employees were your typical college kid just trying to coast by but for every employee like that there was another one willing to go the extra mile for you. The management on the other hand was top notch and did their very best to make sure everything was taken care of. Overall I gave WC four stars. I highly recommend this complex for anyone looking to live in an affordable apartment complex that isn’t sketchy like other places at this price point. Pros: Close to a lot of amenities Lots of places to grab food in the area Quick drive/bike ride to ASU and the light rail Super easy access off the 101 Very close to Tempe Marketplace and Mesa Riverview Incredible maintenance staff Very good management Clean grounds Quiet Cons: Kitchens could use some updating Going east on Broadway during rush hour is a huge pain in the rear AC units are a little old and do seem to run inefficiently but do keep your apartment cold Gym is small If you’re on the very north end of the complex you will probably hear the train (I didn’t further south towards Broadway)

I have lived here for 2 years and it is a perfect and quiet community! I am a senior at Arizona State University and I have found these apartments to be comforting when you need a quiet place to study other than the library or in public places. Plus, the apartments are extremely clean and bug free! I feel very safe and my neighbors are very friendly so have never had issues with neighbors. The maintenance is very attentive and so accommodating. I had simple dryer and washing machine issues and they fixed the problem the same day I placed the work order. The staff is awesome too! Although, I always pay my rent on time, they give away prizes of waivers for money off rent if you pay ahead of time! They even went out of their way on special occasions like valentines day to make the residents feel welcomed with cookies and balloons. I found a home away from home in these apartments.
