Apartment hunting can be both fun and challenging! Finding an apartment that’s affordable, in a good location and up to your living standards are just the first things you need to worry about when choosing the perfect apartment. Whether you’re a first-time apartment renter, or you’ve been in the game for a while, you’ll want to ask some important questions before you sign a lease and collect your keys. We’ve put together the top twelve questions renters should ask property managers BEFORE signing a lease.
Where can I pay my rent?
You can access your online portal at www.amcrentpay.com
When is rent due?
Rent is due on the first with a grace period until the third of every month.
When is the office open for tours?
We are open for tours Monday- Friday from 9:00am-6:00pm and Saturday from 10:00am-5:00pm.
Is there recycling on property
Willow Creek offers two areas for recycling. Stop by the office for a map of the locations where recycling can be dropped off.
Are residents allowed to transfer apartments?
Residents are able to transfer on site to a new apartment. Below list what would be required:
1. Resident must live in current apartment for at least 6 months.
2. Resident must move to a larger unit.
3. Resident must qualify for new apartment by providing new income statements.
4. Resident must set up a walk through of their current home for approval of transfer.
5. A 30 day notice to vacate is required before transfer.
6. The transfer fee of $500.00 must be paid at the time the notice to vacate is entered.
7. All move out charges from prior apartment must be paid within 30 days of receiving their move out statement.
